Any idea what this weed as well as pictures of the same weed.

Looks like a form of thistle of some variety. I think my dad would have called it Canadian thistle, but not sure if that is correct. Purple flower; full of sharp points on the leaves of the plant - use some heavy gloves if you handle it by hand! Dug up almost a pickup bed load one time in the barnyard of a pasture that I was allowed to use - use gloves, a mattock, and pitchfork to deal with the stuff! I think birds scatter the seeds.

Wife has an app that identifies plants on her phone and it calls it a Hedge Mustard. Also calls it Jim Hill Mustard, and London Rocket Mustard.all members of the same Genus.
Thats a neat little app on the phone

I did a google search for weed id apps and came up with a few But I couldn't find any freebies Can you point me in that direction?

I use the SEEK app. It works on plants, animals, insects, mushrooms....it's powered by INaturalist's database. I love it.

Looks like milk thistle. Supposed to be good for liver cleansing. We give it to one of our goats that is anemic. Will bloom a purple flower like a ball.
