This one is for sale in Alabama on marketplace , dang this is one good looking tractor. Any of you still using a 3010 JD ? This would make me a good tractor to keep the fields cut, whats a decent price these days on this particular Deere ? Sellers quotes are its a good runner, good rubber.

Nice looking 3010. Price is high but used tractor prices of that era have advanced significantly lately. I suggest to check rear pto stub shaft to be sure 4 bolts that secure it are tight & pto operates correctly.

I don't like the design of the speed change mechanism with tiny easy to bend pins. I understand this only happens if stub shaft comes loose or is installed incorrectly but the only solution to replace these tiny pins($10.25) is splitting tractor between clutch housing & trans case. BTDT

It looks like the tractor has been taken care of which likely speaks well for it mechanically. It's not all shinney and bright like trying to hide something. Also, I don't think that's a bad price considering all things these days if it checks out. A commercial ZTR will cost considerably more than that. For me it would all boil down to can I justify it for my use. Price is likely negotiable also.

(quoted from post at 08:31:57 05/15/22) That's a stretch on the horse power isn't it? I thought they were 55.

Engine probably has recieved 3020 pistons/liners by now which should increase HP a little over the 55 pto HP factory spec's

This one sold last week for 8000 I think. Might have been 8250. Nice tractor. Tires about half or better. This was in mi.

My next door neighbor died this winter. On line bidding for his 3010 is at 5600. His father in law purchased it mew for his 80 acre farm. It is cleaner that his one, but does not have a wide front

Maybe 65 on the flywheel....seen some ads post the flywheel hp which is always a bit more than the pto hp to push the sale a bit.....

I use a diesel 3010 for 95% of my custom farming. From plowing to baling. It had a gear break that ran the pto. Took a split to fix thought it was the pin let loose. The 1000 rpm has been blocked out on mine so only 540. Put a clutch in this winter. Have a propane 3010as a loader tractor. Wish they had more power like a 3020 but they had do everything I needed.
