Skytrak 6034 Telehandler

I have recently bought a Skytrak 6034 telehandler. Its built on a Ford tractor with a 268 CID 4 cylinder Diesel engine told me. The tranny is a 4 speed with torque convertor clutch. I would to know which tractor model this is so I could perhaps get a suitable repair manual. The tc clutch has some issues. Can anyone shed any light on my questions? Thanks

More like you have a ford engine in a skytrac. they didn't build a skytrac around a ford tractor. The frame is to heavy in the skytrac that is a 6000 lift with a 34 foot boom. The size of the engine you say is in there the tractor would not take the guff a skytrac would give it. Ours weighs around 15-18000.

Had to operate a lift like yours for a city project. It also was built on a Ford tractor chassis. It had a torque convertor 4 speed. The transmission look like
that of a ford industrial tractor but with a 4 cylinder engine was bolted in front of it. Here is a link with pictures of one so all can see the tractor frame. The
shift pattern is different though.

Those pictures look like they started with a piece of a 655A or B. Shift pattern decal is Ford and looks right for a 655 w/ 4spd and hydraulic shuttle

Skytrak would be the right place to get manuals if they're available. Failing that, depending on the year, it would appear to use
some of the drive train of a 655 backhoe, series depending on year. I'd wager on the B or C.
