the number on part is ford OHA-10125 -A. I can't find anything on parts for this model generator. would like to find where i can get field coils on it or find some one who sells generic field coils for it. if i could find some, when ordering i guess i would use diam of casing and length of armature. yes or no? thanks

for sale on ebay..

I think OHA-10125-A might be the part number for the endplate not the whole generator. Parts book shows C4NN-10002-A as 6 Volt generator assy 53 forward, also says replaces FAC-10002-A. The endplate on these looks very similar to the part number you gave.

My 6V generator on my 57 Ford has OHA-10125-A on the endcap as well. You're dealing with a standard 6V generator used on Ford tractors for a very wide range of years. The parts books shows 81-10175-A as the field coil assy, but No Longer Serviced. Search for that number on the web
