Rain On The Red River Special

That is a drone shot of my Red River Special thresher out on the hill in the pasture this morning. I got rained out from applying anhydrous last night so decided to take the drone up this morning to see how the neighbour's field were looking. Then it rained again so it was a short flight

Looks like there is still snow yet on the North (I'm assuming) side of the tree row. Unless that's a piece of white plastic sheeting (from hay bales) or something.

How far North are you? To still have snow on the ground. It was up into the 90's here the last couple of days. Remaining snow, wouldn't of had a chance.

I know they had a late blast of considerable amounts of snow up North. Would of guessed it to be all melted by now.

.

You are right, that is snow. Not at all unusual here to find remains of the deep snowbanks of winter. We have not had any new snow since back in April but its been cool and slow melting. Last week one day was near 80 degrees. I was standing on a snowbank fixing broken fence wires, sweating from the heat.
