Through '52 Chevrolet used a swivel door handle. The '53 had a fixed handle with a pushbutton. That looks like '53 to me.

Looks a lot like mine!

Mine is a '47. The one above is definitely newer because, as mentioned, it has the vent window in the door and also the push button door handles.

Learned to drive manual transmission on that model. Ours had a two speed rear end and 14 foot stake dump bed.

That looks to me like an additional mirror. The upper one is OEM and not that much help.
