3 pt finish mower

A while back someone asked about 3 PT.
finish mowers and if they did a good job.
Here is a pic of my first clip of the
year. You can definitely see wheel tracks
and a zero turn would probably do better.
I'm fine with this. It's old sheep
pasture so a z-turn would be pretty rough
compared to a tractor.

I had a Woods RM600 for years behind my 8N and later I used my Jubilee. I was mowing 3 acres around my house and barn. For straight line mowing it was great. Around trees, not so great. I would have to go back with either a push mower or a string trimmer.
I now have a 60 Gravely zero turn. It is great! I mow in less time than I did with the Woods and I do not have to go back and trim.
I do have to admit that I use Roundup along the fences and I have mulch around all of the trees.

Very true around trees and such. That bothers my wife more than it does me so I bought her a battery powered string trimmer for Mothers day a couple years ago.
