I read where the Russians raided a JD dealership and stole a lot of equipment. A couple items were two combines valued at 300 K each. Somehow they were loaded on a truck, and driven into Russia. Now the problem is they don't run, Something about being locked out. The article said the Russians will somehow get them to run. Good luck with that. Stan

I saw the same article. There was also speculation they could be parted out. Apparently Deere, with their software, was able to disable the computer systems so they do not run as of now. However, that part of the world is where some of the fuel chip and other mod software supposedly comes from.

Not sure waht the European model combines sell for. I thought I read about $5 million in inventory.
