Diesel prices in your aera

Went to get gas today it was 4.10 a gallon then saw the price of on road diesel 6.15 a gallon. This is in central Maine. What are the prices in your area.
 
Bulk retailer was at 4.70 at the beginning of the week. Probably up a dime today as gas has gone up that much this week.
 
Yesterday road gas was 3.999 and road diesel was 5.299 at service stations in SE MN.
 
Sone of the local stations. Not up to date on all of them. I saw Flying J last night was $5.85 for credit.

Today at the local Pilot Truck Stop gas is $3.69 and diesel is $5.39...You can usually go down the street aways and get diesel 20-30 cents cheaper.
 
Just filled a 5 gallon jug with in road an hour ago. Didnt realize the price per gallon till I was done and the total was 30 bucks. It was 5.99 a gallon ! Not sure what it was a week ago, but it has gone up recently for sure. I think it was around 5.50. Western ny.
 
Diesel is right around $2.55 a litre here. I think that works out to $9.66 (Canadian) a gallon or $7.52us a gallon!
 
And here is the reason!

Exxon Mobil and Chevron, the largest U.S. oil companies, on Friday reported a second consecutive quarter of robust earnings as oil and natural gas prices continued to rise after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The two companies said they were increasing their production in the Permian Basin, the giant shale oil field straddling Texas and New Mexico, but were not seeking to ramp up oil and natural gas production.
 
your too cheap, its more like 12.00 per gallon.
plus i dont know what all the 4 and 5 dollar per gallon complaints are about. wish we were that cheap in canada.

Odd how the fuel shortage that drives the price up , does not cause a shortage of fuel at the pumps .

Yeah, but look at all the "free" stuff you get in Canada! :lol:
 

My question is "Why?". Usually they blame it on a war or terrorists, or breakdowns, etc. What's their reason this time? I haven't heard one yet.

No way, 5 cents yes, 10 cents maybe. This has to be more market speculation than demand.
