Tire size, just checking.

I would like to put turf tires on my Farmall BN mower tractor. I just looked at a used set of tires that say 9.5-24 on 8 inch rim. My BN has tires that say 11.2-24 on 10 inch rim. I'm sure the 9.5's won't work but wanted to double check as I have been looking for a year now and this is the closest thing I have found.

They would work but the side walls would pretty much be out ot there max

Just because you have "11.2x24 on 10 inch rim" tires, does not mean you have 10 inch rims.

It would be very unusual for a BN to have 10 inch rims. It probably has 8 inch rims. You need to measure the rim width.

The 9.5x24 turf tires will look unimpressive compared to the 11.2's, but they will work just fine.

Thanks guys. Remind me again where to measure my rims as 8 inch or 10 inch. I think it's where the bead rides on the rim. Correct?

Measure your rims if they measure 9in outside they are 8in and the 9,5 will be fine

depending on where you are located I have 2 NEW Alliance 14.9 x 24 diamond treads with new tubes I would sell for $300 for the pair I am in northwest Iowa. Bert

I don't think 14.9 would work on my BN. It has 11.2-24's on it now. I would be interested if they would fit.
