It is rough!

Id like to have one of those in a series 3 two wheel drive configuration kinda like in the photo. Bedazz tractor.

If it checks out would be a good horse.A White Workhorse 160 is on my wish list.I bought this 2-88 several years ago.Besides needing a hydraulic pump was solid mechanically.Have been working on the cosmetics,it's getting a new headliner, cab kit and seat next couple weeks. This one has around 3700 hours on it.

you know to anyone not a tractor guy that subject line isnt even close to being PC..

thats on cheap horse.. lots of people laugh at the 3208 my 4-150 runs one, its pretty good on fuel and does everything i ask of it..
wish that 180 wasnt so far away..

I think the white tractors painting scheme make them look much worse than a john deere or ih tractor when they are rusted.

Paul, we have an '83 White 2-110.
It's needing a headliner and some side cushions too! Who are you going to use for your headliner? Ours is grey I think.
Bailey my 17 yr old says grey is correct? What is yours? We have grey cushions on sidewalls.

Kelsey my 14 yr old is getting some time in the seat!

Might be plenty of part available but the early models were a sleve bolck cylinder so when the block was worn out it was block time to be able to rework it. the piston was a problem with the short piston and skirt they would work in the cylinder. And were a gut less wonder like a Deriot engine. The inline 6 cats and the 3408 were good engines with lots of torque. The 3408 was a V-8 and had lots of torque for a V-8. Would pull right with all the other trucks I drove with.

I worked for my Buddy for a week one summer, plan was we were going up to a lake in Minnesota but that got cancelled. I drove the dualed-up 4-150 pulling a 14 ft disk stirring up drowned out corn so my buddy could plant beans. I learned how to drive all over again! I jersey the steering wheel, on a 2wd tractor that's not a problem, on an articulated tractor the side cushion of the seat punches you in the kidneys every jerk of the wheel. No problem with power or Traction. WE hooked it up to their White 7-14 semi-mounted plow and I plowed 15-20 acres of really wet peat ground. I could plow fine, make a round and the last furrow would be full of water, was messy, but long as I stayed in the cab I was O-K.
Did some chisel plowing with an 8440 Deere, 2 shanks too big Glenco Soil Saver. Crawled along slowly in A range, 2nd & 3rd gear. The CASE 2470 I chiseled with about a week in about 1974 was a really nice tractor, had been turned up to 220-225 hp, 28Lx26 tires on all 4 corners, rode smooth like a Cadillac. And was surprisingly good on fuel too. Was the most comfortable tractor to spend lots of time in, Deere was the worst, White was a bit better than the Deere.

Hi,
Bailey is correct, yours is Berkshire gray.Mine came from the factory with a burgundy interior.I ordered a new headliner and cab kit in Berkshire gray from Fehr Cab Interiors. They make a very good product.I am having the original seat cushions reupholstered in black vinyl with a grey cloth insert.Wish my 13 year old grandson was enthused with tractors as your daughters seem to be!
