Bruce from Canada

Not Bruce but have sold a bunch of them. With those hours I would be sure and check the clutch, adjustment and free play, run it a few minutes and check for blow by make sure the wiring has not been cut up and patched. They start fine if you have a good battery.

M135x has computer controlled main clutch with a hydraulic dump valve at the bottom of travel to override if the electronics fail I'm 95% sure.

Wiring harness problems on the harness to the controls to the right arm of seat is common in the floor area.

I've run an M135GX once for a couple of days, the cab and engine substantially different than the older series with computer on the engine and emissions stuff. Cab quite a bit nicer than the older series.

If you are using heavy 3 point stuff check it has one or both the lift assist cylinders.

A pic of my buddies m-135gx. I own an M-120 myself.

My MX 135 has been a trouble free tractor, right near 3000 hours now. Starts great in cold weather. My tractor was from about the last year of that model series, and doesnt use DEF. I actually like that better than the M6141 that I bought a couple years later that needs the DEF, as the DEF system has had to be repaired 3 times already.
I know the earlier version of this series had a different cab, with a smaller door, I like the newer style cab better. Really isnt anything I could say bad about the MX 135 tractor, I just wish I had bought two of them when I bought the first one, instead of waiting a couple years and getting the next tractor with the DEF dependence.

My son has a M126GX which I think is almost the same tractor. It just has 2800 hrs. Only trouble is the reverser switch was dirty and the tractor would suddenly stop and if you touched the reverser it would lurch away. Just needed cleaned. We thought the trans was going out. It's not new enough to have def, but it does re-gen. Starts good in cold. But never tried to start it below O. Neatest thing is the front end will speed up and turn shorter in four wheel drive than in two wheel drive.
