Old wrench

I was moving some dirt around my place and this wrench turned up. Does anyone recognize what it's from?

(Wife was NOT excited about it being on the kitchen table) It's cold and windy out....

I forget the part number but its a McCormick Deering. I have one like it.

It has an ihc logo right up the top its a drill wrench

I agree it is a McCormick Deering grain drill tool. Mine is original to a late 40s steel wheel double disc drill.

Quite common for old farm equipment and cars and trucks to come with wrench(s). That one is certainly a multi use one. Some farm machinery still comes with wrenches. My John Deere corn planter has several of them hanging in just the right place so you don't have to go looking for a wrench. My Sunflower disc came with a wrench so big it could be used on a locomotive.

I may try using electrolysis on it. Its pretty rough.

A wire wheel would clean it up about as good as anything

Soak her in vinegar for a week, it'll clean right up . Then just wipe off the black oxidation.
