I have a allis b n the sediment bowl does not appear to have a reserve. I cleaned the passages before installing n blew air through to make sure. What am I doing wrong. 2 turns for regular tank all the way open for reserve!!?

Non of the A/C tractor I have have a reserve. I think that was a Ford thing but you could buy a Ford type sediment bowl and then you would have it

Where is the reserve tank? I've never seen one on the old Allises.
The sediment bowl doesn't hold enough gas to be considered a "reserve". The valve is simply a "shut-off" .....turn CW all the way to close and CCW all the way to open.

No reserve on an Allis Chalmers B, fill before heading out. Run out of gas and you walk. An 18" ruler makes a good gas gauge.

The reserve is done in the valve with a stand pipe that keeps a couple inches
of fuel in the tank for normal use.

Go to reserve and it will use the last couple inches. Problem with that, good
chance you will also get a dose of rust and water (pre ethanol).
