Dunno whether to put 1494 CIH in the shop for head gasket replacement, or man up and replace the transmission in 2004 Silverado, or start on Hydro 544 maintenance, including removing radiator for cleaning. Or start on one of about 20 other things!

(quoted from post at 12:05:00 03/20/22) Looks like you already made up your mind and just (like they say) stick a fork in it.

More like "I've come to a fork in the road", LOL!

I usually start with the one that can be completed the fastest. The long term difficult projects are candidates to be farmed out to someone else.

Always, always, always start one of another 20 things....

Am told one can never die if they have unfinished projects. Course, in my line of work that is demonstrably false... but it's still a great excuse for a messy barn.

I've already "weeded out" the "Anteater" clutch and TA project for now, and it's tough to "farm out" any of the rest as there's few if any places within a hundred miles to take them to!

Drove over the barn,(shop) looked around at all the projects. Put away one wrench. It's Sunday, drove back home, to look at the computer. Stan

My dad always said Do the easiest job first. Then do the next easiest job, that way you are doing the easiest job. Always. Joe

HA HA : ) Saturday I finished up a porch rail I started on 12 years ago. Life events always got in the way. I got caught up one day last week while moving stuff around the rail was laying again the wall... Get'er done.

Sometimes farming out a repair job to someone else can mean finding someone who still wants it as-is. That can mean selling it, sending it to an auction, or sending it to a salvage yard.
