g,day everyone,we have a b250 deisel mckormick on idle no smoke reved up white smoke and a bit of a knock is this a injector not firing. thanks.

Sounds like an injector . Can you loosen each one of the lines
at the injector and see if you can find the one that isnt
working . I had a stuck one on my 4020 last spring when I
started it I dumped quart of atf in and the injector cleared up

white exhaust could also be from low compression, not allowing the fuel to explode, could be on one cylinder with bent rod,say from hydrolock. dont ask how i know

Years ago, I used a quart to 50 gallons, give or take, a couple times a year in my road tractors
