I found a new way to get the lower radiator hose off EZ. Pump the system up to 15lbs release the spring hose clamp on the hose it will blow the hose off... The down side you will get a coolant bath. : (

The water pump was leaking I was going after the water pump. I forgot to release the pressure on the tester after my leak test. : (

About 40 years ago I seen my radiator man using gas tanks cut into to catch coolant in while he was taking radiators off. I made my own that are the best for a job like this they cover most of the engine bay.

A tool that speeds up the job for cleaning bolt holes.

A parking brake cable chucked up in a drill

My last pix hose removal tools I have several brands Mac are the best bar none. This is a simple job as long as you bleed the pressure off your pressure tester.

A few more tools used on the job. This is my sucker/refill tool I use it all the time.

Hobo - I don't respond much, but I read all of your posts. There's something for me to learn in every one of them. Thanks!

The parking brake cable is a neat idea. I use a plumber's fitting brush with the handle cut off and chucked in a drill, but your idea is better.

Nice. Thanks for the pictures. I looked at the location you have on the YT member's map and wondered what the large area is to your southeast. Looks like the remains of an old factory ground plan.

I have learned that antifreeze on a serpentine belt makes them squeak.Good tip on the cable.

North of me Sanford Brick and tile last know as General Shale at one time the brick capital of the world.

South Borden Brick was brought out by General Shale. Both moved a little north west to Brickhaven.

Sanford brick was brought to be to be a car crusher site that fell thru. The last news a Modular home builder and a concrete CO. are suppose to build on that site

The Borden site is suppose to be part of a train station I guess the city is waiting for your TAX dollars.

3oz/80ml something like that. Glad you ask I have been wanting a larger one if you see something let me know.

large syringe pump

They are handy I used it to draw the coolant out of the block where it mounted up. Its fast and no mess. In the pix I am adding fluid to the transfer case its the same fast and no mess to add a 1/2 qt.

Another pump that's handy I need to up grade to one a little better. I use it mostly to pump the coolant out of my drain pans.

Coolant on a belt I try to flush them off with water. For a noisy belt baking soda is hard to beat. I am not gonna say it will fix it, it will clean the contamination off : ) I buy it in 5/10lb bags and store it in a large coffee can.
