Couple pictures from a manual. Way , way better than hand picking.

The linkage that was fabbed up to make those run is insane. Saw several at the Red Power Round up in '18.

Jaden, cotton picker and tractor sold as a unit. For a cotton picker the tractor is set up for reverse operation. So without swapping a bunch of stuff and flipping the differential over the tractor alone is not good for much else except a loader tractor.

There was pickers that mounted on regular tractors. Had basket mounted on top. Around here they are in the brush or been scrapped. The selfcontained pickers are on way out along with cotton trailers and module builders. Stripper/processers are now the thing, one person can do hundreds of acres by self instead of 3 or 4.

Yep & I remember meeting you one day when you were there. I think you might just have fallen in love with Cubs when you saw the cut away one that was on display there in Montgomery. Jal-sd

BOTH WAYS i have heard about the fun converting tractor for the picker then back so tractor could be used rest of the yr

I have one of these minus the cotton heads. Brought it two years ago. It has been converted into a grass seed harvester. But still uses the basket and fans everything is original except the cotton heads. Gets lots of looks at shows and is a dog to drive

An old guy down the road has a picker on a Super C. I didn't know they offered a picker on anything that small till I saw that one.

Would like to find an M or something bigger like an 806or 856 for a loader on one with the drive wheels under the loader frame instead of the steer wheels would go a lot better in mud.
