I've never seen one in Texas, either. If the snorkel is functional, that little truck could be safely driven through most Texas lakes and waterways. Roads would be obsolete.

Our city brought them to ( plow snow) ! They were loud , guys were crashing gears shifting,I dont think they lasted very long in the city maintenance fleet. What remember about it !

TXU company in East Texas I worked for had one in the 80's. We used it in the Martin Lake Mine. It was broke down most of the time. They thought it would go in the mud but wasn't that good. Yes it was hard to shift gears.

I think they were owned by Case at one time. I remember seeing one that had Case markings on it.
