Thanks to all who replied to my future post below. We are a very very small operation compared to most here. We dont really deal with many of the issues a lot of you and it helped me understand how it works/ can work ! Thanks again for the info !

I dont buy enough to be able to lock in price on fuel or anything like that but I usually try to fill my fuel tanks in the winter when fuel price is at its lowest but not this year I missed all the low furl price

I filled last fall at corn harvest and again after field work was done. Tanks are full...for once I guessed right.

I guessed wrong and ordered 300 gallon last fall because they predicted it to keep going higher paid 3.30 something then it dropped under 2.50 . Glad you guessed right

According to fuel yesterday at the pump road fuel was 4.159 and Gas was 3.599 regular. Other grades were up from there. I'd say you still guessed right SV.
