I used to be able to be able to look up a part and a get a price and decide if I would order on line or look elsewhere. Now when I put the item in the cart, it says contact dealer for price. How can you possibly use this to order online? Is there some trick? It happens whether I am signed in or not. Thanks

Since they "improved" the parts site it requires a login through a selected dealer.

Pick a dealer and get a login through them and you will be again be able to view price and availability of parts.

You log in at the dealers web site and selecting parts lookup takes you to the corporate site, then selecting pricing and ordering takes you back to the selected dealer's site.

It might be your dealer limiting access to prices.

I rarely buy parts from my local dealer unless I need it TODAY because they mark up parts over list price.
But I am having no problems seeing price for the part and how many each location has in stock.
Unless my computer has me logged in with cookies I am not even logged in.

I use it all the time in order to get the price you select a dealer buy searching for you location pick the one you want and then the price shows up Im not registered and I havent been for years.

Interesting. I changed the dealer on the form to one two states away and the prices show up. My local dealer (actually one of 5 together) was just bought out by a 43 location dealer. I guess that this is the reason.

Been a long while since I was on there looking up parts. Part of it was to see how things went together or if all were there to repair and if needed to get the part numbers to know if the part in a salvage yard would fit. Are you saying that now you cannot do that? Almost never was any jobs I neede to do were the item even new enough to buy new parts.

I'm side tracking just a bit but how do I delete a part that is already in the cart. I use the Deere parts site a lot for making up a parts list to take to my local dealer but I have never gone so far as to get into the dealer on the site. I put a part in the cart the other day and now I want it outa there but I can't figure out how to do it. It's probably right on front of my eyes but I can't see it.
