12Lx15 wagon +.79% at $166 ,probably because Chinese not available.

And the news says the government figures on inflation are 7% this year. IMHO Somebody has a math problem.

Corn is over $6 per bushel and soybeans are over $15, pretty good compared to a few years ago. We have to take the bad with the good. I would think livestock producers are the ones feeling the squeeze.

We have our last group of custom raise feeders in our barn now. Theres no way Im paying $330/metric tonne for barley (Canada) double for fertilizer and 75% more for fuel to get the exact same per pound gain as before.

The governamnt doesn't use oil or food stuffs in figuring inflation rates because they can fluctuate faster than they can figure. As a general rule the actual rate is 1 1/2 times what the government rate says/ I had never heard that until a couple weeks ago when one of the financial programs was talking about it. at that time the rate was 7% and the actual was a bit over 10.5 %
