Wife went to Arizona for 4 days to visit her good friend. So I treated myself to a hot roast beef sandwich and a Grain Belt at the local pub. What you all having?

As someone who was beaten up pretty badly here about this topic I will just tell you...

We don't eat supper here. We eats lunch and dinner. Restaurants do not have supper menus, they have lunch and dinner menus. There are no supper clubs. You can eat supper if you want to, I'm having dinner. Now I forgot what I had...

I like Charlie's supper. Hamburgers with french fries and a chocolate malt would work. Meat and bread for the burger.

I was just showing there are supper clubs. My post was in fun because he said he took a beating before. Supper and dinner are just really interchangeable terms now.

I need to head up to Bar Bill's in East Aurora for a beef on wick. About 7 hours one way, but worth the trip.

City folks working three shift jobs in some factory probably brought about the change. If you work a 3 shift job, you loose all sense of time. When to eat, when to sleep, when to go to the toilet, or what meal you are eating. I figured the company called the break after 4 hours of a 8 hour shift lunch time , and it stuck.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner all of my life. Never heard of supper being the 3rd meal of the day until joining the forum. Regional Im sure but I know what those folks meant to say. Ha!
