Back in the 70s,there were plastic models pf a a 4430 and 1466.Made by Ertle,or Revell?I think I still have the 4430 around somewhere.I would love to find another 1466.

The kits from the 70s were by ertl. I put together a 4430, a red wagon, and I sort of recall a JD plow. Seems it may have been a six bottom? Dont know what was available in the other colors

Thats the only ones Ive seen the John Deere tractor and plow theres a John Deere backhoe and I didnt know there was a international

I had the 1155 massey shown below and the 1466,
Actually I think the remains of both are still in a box in the basement.
I think I remember dualing up buy borrowing the wheels from one to the other.

I have a couple of the 4430's and the 1466 IH. The IH I never finished putting together as the rear tires were way out of shape. I also wanted to make it an open station. Maybe someday. I also have the plow and wagon. Once in a while you see them at toy shows.

Knock off Legos. My nephews could put that tractor together in an hour.

I have one of the 1466 models new in box that I bought for Dad during the early days of Ebay. It was to replace the one I broke as a kid when he let me touch it when I was like 3 years old. So was that wooden 1066 I made in junior high shop class for that matter... Wow, I guess I had some guilt issues over that model...

I've got two of the 4430 model kits. Never got around to building them. My eyes and hands can't handle those small parts anymore. My niece says she will build them some day.

I never let the kids near the tractor room until they were big
enough to know how not to break anything : at least you
replaced the tractor that was nice Ive always had dreams of
building a wooden tractor but I have no talent in toy making

I use to Rob wheels off other tractors to put duals on another one cant be causing compaction in fresh plowed ground

As a plastic model builder I will say I like to stick to the major brands for better parts fit-up. That one would not be a problem as it is building from blocks.

I took up building models several years ago and have them of different types all over the house. Included in that are a couple of 4'x8' N Scale model trains and support infrastructure. I never did an 18 wheeler nor tractor, not r building block type model. At 476 pieces that looks like fun. I may check it out as my last/existing caper was 20 each 750 word puzzles. After going through them starting on the 3rd time currently, the completed photographs are getting so torn I'm having a hard time working the puzzle.

Thats an interesting concept. I did a quick www search and they are easily obtainable.

Thanks

(quoted from post at 00:52:47 02/16/22) I found a few on eBay but not international tractor no John Deere tractor right now either

I put the IH Payhauler together as a kid, great kit. I liked that it had duals all the way around. Gerrit
