Soft plug out of the intake makes the air cleaner about useless. Nice looking tractor though. Like the old D-4's and up.

That is the discharge of the pony motor exhaust not a soft plug. It warms up the intake manifold of the diesel. I used to own a 1938 D2, sold it to a guy in Iowa.

Bought one with a blade when I built my pond for $2800 and fixed a few things on it.
Got the pond built and sold it for what I had in it.

Almost looks like blue painter's tape, and not straps. That would hold and not leave marks when you take it off 8)
