Went to look at the kubota L4060 today, not good

I dont know where its been but wow Ive never seen a barely 7 year old tractor before with not that many hours that doesnt look a day newer than 30 before. Never mind the things roughed up but rust wow 1/2 the muffler assembly was missing because it rusted off. Anyways not to go into anymore detail I did drive it anyways and something similar in better kept condition would definitely suit my needs , I was impressed as far as how it actually worked and the space inside the cab

Lots of those units get used on snow plowing and salting contracts around here. The salt sure does destroy them in a hurry, we have a bunch at work and I just about cringe every time I see what the salt does to them. I would much rather have a salt free high hour unit than a low hour unit thats been in salt.

I agree with tractorsam, this has probably been a snow removal unit. Very popular with guys that contact with towns/cities to clean and salt sidewalks and parking areas.

I was looking for a 50-60 hp cab Kubota a few years ago. I found allot of them on Tractor House for sale over in Canada especially around Quebec area. They were all used for snow removal by contractors and I assumed they just turned them over for new ones ever few years or so. They were priced reasonable but I decided I didn't want deal with getting one across the border to Michigan.

Went to look at the kubota L4060 today, not good
