On todays trip to the California orchards you will see the
Faegol tractor. The Faegol brothers were briefly in the
tractor game as an endeavor from their bus and truck
business. The depression was not kind to Faegol and the
company was bought by Mr. Peterman who if I remember
correctly was producing chain drive log trucks in
Washington state. Today we know it as Peterbilt.

The wheels have always grabbed my attention. I just noticed the tiller for the first time! I wonder how well that worked?

I'm thinking they were for sticky clay, but even that all balled up isn't going to work.

The disk(tiller) was a horse drawn. It has the seat on disk for riding.

I think the whole idea was to loosen soil in the orchards, I think the wheels were to reduce compaction if I remember correctly.
