It may be an earlier Schramm than the one in this picture. Leroi was another that built these type units. Backhoes were attached to use pneumatic breakers and drills.

I have a one that is the same pneumatractor. 3 cylinder diesel engine and 3 cylinder air compressor. It was made in 1972. Used IH trans and rear axle parts. If any one who see this knows of a salvage unit, I need a complete radiator for mine as some lowlife stole mine. Schremm no longer makes them. Many of them were used in rock drilling operations, quarries, railroad track, Seaway project, and possibly on aircraft carriers. Schramm made lots of different variations of these. There is one that is 6 cyl engine and 6 cyl compressor tractor that shows up last few years at Pageant of Steam.

Unfortunately they didn't have good pics of the hoe. I believe they're asking $3500 if anyone is interested. Not sure on that though.
