Diesel fuel tank leak

Can a diesel fuel tank be sealed on the inside like a gas tank using a liquid sealer product? I cleaned mine and have some small pin holes.

Pin holes are an indication of thinning from internal rust. Cleaning from the outside and soldering the section to cover a layer of solder on it, then using a sealer on the inside to stop further rusting may work. A different tank may be a better option. or having the floor of the tank replaced entirely if it is a rare tank. Jim

yes, most definitly. had my wd40 tank lined with that red coating . but what kind of tank? on a tractor?

I had a pickup tank done with that stuff they advertise where they clean tank pour it in coat tank then bake. It was done 25-30 years ago and still is good. It was a diesel fueled truck.
