Edited. 1969 Ford 4000 3cyl doe law fuel problem

I finally figured the picture thing out. So I have this diagram and number one is leaking. Cant figure out where can I cut it out and put straight line in. Curious of what it is before I do such.

#1 is the reservoir for the thermostart intake heater, on later models it was replaced with a simple T, I believe the replacement was around $200 if you can even get one anymore. The T will get plenty of fuel down the line to start a cold engine. My 345C has the T style, never had an issue with it

Mine was wearing back in the summer and tightening the lines fixed it
You can replace the reservoir with a simple brass tee for inverted flare fittings, a inverted hose barb will allow you to reconnect the rubber line
If no one has the hose barb get a short piece of 1/4 inch brake line and cut it a couple inches long

I just priced one of those new lines for my 7600; just a measly 650 bucks. I bought a brass T and re-shaped some of the lines so I could get rid of the leaky reservoir.
