John Deere 4020 air filter housing

Thanks for letting me join the group.
Im working on the impossible task of finding a dry filter
Housing to the pre-cleaner for early 4020 diesel. Looked hi and
Low and cant find em anywhere and I know now this is a problem. So was hoping someone had one for sale,someone
who has converted a oil bath to a dry filter, or someone/company
that can rebuild. Im doing a major overhaul on this tractor and
want to add a turbo, Ive been told oil baths restric air flow more
than a dry filter type. Any help would be much appreciated,

The part # is AR46151. It is the air filter housing for a dry filter
for early mod John Deere 4020. Tractor has a pre cleaner, so
the housing will have 2 pipes coming out of the top.
If you have one to sell, that would be great, Thanks

I sold a complete dry air cleaner and all the pipes for $500 a few weeks ago. Sometimes they show up on Ebay. Try calling Greenspring Tractor
in Newville Pa. Tom
 
How hard is this tractor going to be worked?? There were plenty of them that got along just fine with oil bath air cleaners. Might be an expensive solution to a non existent problem.

Looks like Im going to stick with what I got,just think it would
Get better flow with the dry one. Oil bath does great keeping
dirt out no doubt. Its almost like a quest now, gotta
have one! Lol! I appreciate all you guys help! This is
a great forum
 
Guess this means no going to the. Scrap yard field. I was looking
forward to that. I could spend hours just looking around. Dang it.

If you really want it to breathe just put one off from a semi on the side and connect it up. Will have plenty of air flow then. Little paper element under the hood will be a bit short on life with all the extra air flowing through it.
