3 pt hitch spreader repair

Dealer said the shutoff plate was no longer available, but they would
sell me a new spreader, so I decided to fabricate my own. Not perfect,
but functional where the OE was not.
I don't think it turned out all that bad using a hand held plasma cutter and grinder.
OEM on the bottom, shop fab on the top.

Looks like its a little thicker than the original, good job.

Looks good. I just made a shut off for my 3 pt spreader too. I was going to just buy a new spreader
but found out they increased in price about 40% and that was if you could get one. I made mine out
of plastic and a small piece of steel. It looks like it should work better than the old one did.

Looks good . With a die grinder you could shape the holes
and smooth then up No one would know it wasnt factory
