She may not look like much!

But boy can she talk! The tractor club that I am a part of does a calendar every year with pictures of our events. This year my A Farmall Got the January spot. This is my go to tractor. If you look closely you can see that it is the best parts of two A,s. Then I put a hydraulic pump off of a Super C Farmall on it. Had to make a reservoir out of square tube and mount it under the hood. Under the fuel tank you can see the filter. Then it has a two spool valve and levers mounted to the right side of the seat frame. Then I used parts of a wrecked scissor lift to make a rockshaft for a three point hitch. Steering cylinders off of another aerial lift are what raise the hitch and front blade. In the picture it is doing a good job of pulling a Ford one bottom three point plow. I just used it yesterday to push snow here in the drive and out to the wood pile. No it is not very original, but it sure is usefull. I have enjoyed fabricating on it. Maybe someday I will put a muffler on it.

tractorcedric,

Please add more photos of your swiss-army-knife alterations and additions; I am interested in that type of making-things-work-for-me.

With as many as 3 Super As on the farm I can truthfully they are very useful tractors. I like your A modifications.

I like that kind of modifications as long as there isn't jagged iron sticking out everywhere, seen that before. What''s your plow off of?
I had my plow for about ten years before I figured out it was an IH plow.

You've done a great job!

It gets the job done!

No electronics!

No payments!

And now she's a calendar girl!

What more could you ask!

Admire your abilities to do such a great job, to be able to think of what you'd like to do and then actually getting it done is a job to be very satisfied with.

My front blade was kind of homemade from the get go. I just had a five foot cutting edge and bent the moldboard in my press. There are two small straps that go from the top back of the moldboard and bolt to tabs welded to the push frame. Those bolts are soft 1/4 inch ones so that if I hit something they shear off and the frame does not get bent. But you can see in the picture that I have tested it many times. Nice looking Super C by the way. I have a C to fix up as well. Some of the three point hitch is off of a Case. One picture is of the bottom of the hyd tank I made and fastened to the head. The valve is mounted to the left side of the seat frame and the control levers are on the right side of seat. Today it has a six foot grader blade on the back. I just has a receiver hitch for a drawbar.
