Finally made one taste pretty good . So I got it out of the freezer last left it in the Fridge before I put it in the fridge I seasoned it with some spade l seasoning and Just a tiny bit of salt wrapped it in tinfoil . Got home tonight let it sit out for about 2 hours nice and warm so I got the pan hot let ut warm for about 30 minutes then I sugared one side of the streak just a bit didnt want to go overboard with it . Definitely the best steak Ive ever made .

If your alone like myself, get yourself an air fryer. Plug it in on the counter somewhere, its all you will ever need. I use mine for everything from pot pies to you name it. Chicken, bacon, burgers, pork, steak, fresh or frozen, french fries, onion rings, breaded anything, perfect everytime. Ninja Foodi Aircrisp is what i use, easy clean up, and you can google anyfood and it will tell you how to do it. Brand new WhirlPool gas convection oven/range, havent even lit it once since it came in July. Seriously, check them out!!!!

Ever tried Pappy's? Makes BBQ steaks taste great. You can get it a Winco. Don't know if you have one over on your side of the state.

T bone steak has, in IMO, the best flavor.
Charcoal grilled, apply garlic and butter while cooking.

over done! I bet it was mooing as he eat it!
just teasing Tall Kid and I like our steak with red showing NO Pink!

It was the best one Ive ever done . If I had a cactus blossom and rolls it would held right up to my favorite steakhouse

My wife and I eat a steak every week and we use an air fryer, ours is an ActiFry, so good we have two. One cooks the steak, mushrooms, tomatoes and onions, the other cooks the chips (fries). All done in around 25 minutes. Steak is perfect every time, cooked through and very tender. You have to experiment to get the best cook time for you to get rare or fully cooked. We find thick ribeye is our favourite but always get out steaks cut thickly not butchers cut (thin).

We also like just a little oil and ground black peppers on it s we cook. chilli salt is good also.

Apparently the meat you guy eat is p poor if you need all that poison on it to make it edible. I'd throw it out to the dog if I had to eat it with all that on it. Just put in pan an cook till done well done. I don't want it to look up at me. Nor chase it around to get it. I'd really rather have a burger than a steak any day. Had to many old milk cows for meat over the years of milking to ever really want a tough old steak. Just about every cow that went down was the next years meat. Din't matter if it was a first calf heifer or a 10year old cow.

Cat Guy ..... remember that rare or well done is a personal preference. As for your experience with old cows, you're like the guy whose been driving a car or truck that should be in the scrap yard and then making comment for others who are driving something worthwhile and roadworthy. Do yourself a favour and spend some money ..... buy yourself a good quality steak from a reputable retaier and you'll see what the other guys are talking about.

If the juice on the plate was red, then I would say it was a bit too rare, but the juice says it is done enough.

What CrazyHorse said X2.
Utilizing meat from a dairy animal that laid down and died, is one thing. That meat probably should be ALL ground into hamburger anyways. But don't compare that to meat that was raised for the purpose of meat production.
I hope you don't think your cull dairy cows that you sold through the sale barn over the years, somehow ended up on the table of high end steak houses. Because if you think that, your dead wrong.

And thats why you would rather have a burger than a steak because the way you burn any flavor out of it that it once had and nothing to enhance the flavor it does have

If you like it rare or well done makes no difference to me. I just hope you enjoyed it and come back for more. Raising beef is my living.

I was to the same way . I was eating in the restaurant the
other night a girl was sitting there with a 30$ steak putting
ketchup on it!!!! I wanted to say you know if you had taken
your shoe off and sprinkled some salt on it the shoe would
have better flavor and you Wouldn't need ketchup
