Looked at 5 quarts today of atf and all of them only had around 800 ml instead of the 946 or so they should have

SV,
Rural King in my Hood stopped selling Harvest King oil.
jm can better tell you the story behind Harvest King oil.
No more cheap oil at RK.
I may have to check out TSC for my old tractor oil.
Seriously considering Letting my Cadillac dealer service my old Car and Truck. They charge $40 for full synthetic 5w30 valvoline, 6k oil. I used to change oil 3k using harvest king oil. Now the cheap Harvest king oil is gone. Buying full synthetic and filter is only saving me $10. My old body may not mind spending a little more, especially if I have to get on a cold floor in the winter and the car is dripping melting snow in my face.
While under warranty they service my Cadillac.
When it comes to ATF I don't buy any. I let the transmission shop in town change my fluid.

My wife always searches for the Dawn dish soap bottles for the fullest one. There is always some with more in it.

I've taken over shopping for groceries during the lockdown.
I was told to buy cheap onions. I picked up 2 three pound bags and put them on the scales. Two three pound bags of onions weighed in at over 7 pounds.
Some bags were under 3 pounds.
You may say I have tooooooo much time on my hands to weigh onions.
At my age, what else do I have to do? Looking for good deals and saving money is a good hobby.
4000 fuel points means I can buy 210 of gas and save $210, dollar off. I have until the end of January to burn up 210 gallons of gas or I'll fill up a lot of gas cans.
I'll top all the gas tanks on mowers and tractors too.

Just a little FYI here on DAWN . if your buying the gallon with the pump it is in your best interest to check the cap . They are loose and can come off or leak if they fall over as we found out the the hard way last Sunday afternoon. The War Dept and i went on the monthly stock up shopping at Sam's club and she got her gallon jug and finished up went out a loaded up her brand new 2021 JEEP Cherokee Latitude Plus with only 1570 miles on it and we headed for home , had one more stop to make to pick up or DRUGS and a couple things Sam's did not have . When she came out she opened the back to find that the galolon jug fell ov er on it's side and dumped 2/3 of the gallon onto the cargo mat that inturn let it run off all over the carpeting and down into the spare tire well that is carpeted also . The spare tire well cover was soaked the tire well was floating . When we got home two rolls of paper towels were used then i took the cover down into the basement and spent and hour and a halt rinsing the cover out , this made for MOUNTAINS of suds getting washed down the drain , Monday was spent with the shop vac and 25 gallons of water tryen to get the rest out . I got out a lot but if this JEEP ever gets in a flood there will be enough Dawn let to wash dishes at and ARMY BASE for a month .

I remember shopping with Mom when I was a little kid, had the same thing happen with a gallon of bleach.

The lid was loose, it tipped over in the back floor well on the way home.

No fixing that! The carpet was forever bleached very pale blue on that side!

(quoted from post at 08:32:07 12/20/21) I couldn't find Rotella this weekend

It seems scarce here too. I wish I had bought mare a year or so ago when they had their rebate program going. Hard to find the 5-40 T6 synthetic.
