Home in time

Plenty of time! Gone 8 hours -20 minutes, got home in time for lunch! Pouring rain while loading, slipped off trailer and caught my shin on a strap hook. Looks like the rain is going to give us a break this evening for the tree lighting event at church!!

Straps and blood for Barney! Probably needs stitches..... Was still bleeding when I got home , almost 4 hours after I did it. I tied a rag around it tight for the trip! Renee has it doctored up.

Dump peroxide on cut.
Peroxide works for me .

Got too close to a hungry saw blade.
Peroxide stopped the bleeding.
Skin grew back
Ruined a perfectly good glove.

Take care of that!! I slipped on the wet trailer ramp a couple years ago and scrapped my shin. I didn't put anything on it till I got home that afternoon, got infected and took forever to heal up. Good looking Cub!!

well, if you had your long jeans and insulated coveralls and tall boots on, your leg would probably look a lot better. Oh wait, that was how I was dressed today....

decent looking Cub with at least one nice back tire.

Glad you made it home with the cub ok except for the shin . That had to hurt .
At 82 years young my skin just tears open if you look at it hard . no elasticity to it anymore . Bleeds for ever .
Is the cub a runner or a fixer upper ?

When I got too close to the baler belt, the nurse lady gave us fits for cleaning with peroxide.... Gave me a jug of saline solution water. It did the job. Take care of yourself.
And the pretty little machine.
Give a thankful prayer for that great nurse lady you have at home!

Soak a rag put some Epsom salts on it then tape to leg will clean it and prevent any infection. I just got done with some of that for a banged shin like that. No strap pulling forward so it don't roll back? I like chains for that they don't cut and don't let things bounce with the stretch of the strap.
