oh. my. goodness. just wow. i would agree, yes the uniharverster of today because of the newer technology and the re growing of interest in track farming where you only drive in certain areas. but they are the same areas each year, i think i read about that process in europe in the soggy marsh lands a century ago. Only driving on certain areas and farming in between those roads
 
Aaaaaaaaand just like allis chalmers snap coupler, farmall fast hitch, case eagle hitch, and ferguson 3 point, you get to buy a whole new fleet of implements and attachments that only fit that specific brand machine.

Am I correct?
 
It has been apparent for a while that North America has fallen seriously behind on equipment technology. Compare this machine to the best offerings from our manufacturers and it is obvious who will be feeding the world in another generation or so. It won't be the cherished "family farms."
 
That is good since the hungry people of the World are hungry not from lack of food around but from the ability to pay for the food.Who wants to sell to people that can't pay? We'd be far better off if no food was exported then the focus could be on quality food not producing huge quantities.
 
that was only 24 row corn and 30 row sunflower. No bigger than todays equipment here in North America.
 
Yup had an old NI uni back in the 80's was a pain to change all the piece from chopper to sheller and back. If you did it right greasing all the bolts and screws and such while doing it you spent a day with a change over. Then how does one see the far row? 7720 combine with a 25 foot head is bad enough. Was shelling corn last night with a 9610 compared to the 7720 was much easier to see the rows and noses to keep them out of things. You can have that piece of junk tracks or not.
