Allis Chalmers 8000 series

thankyou for posting. I really enjoy all the ads that get posted on this site, both photos of brochures and books as well as these dealer or promo videos.

My buddy had a 8040 he picked up around 2000 with a bad engine. Found a damaged Gleaner combined, and bought the low hour combined engine reasonable. I think the greatest modification was to the exhaust and turbo, otherwise bolted right in , and had more hp too.

One came into the dealership with a cummins transplanted in it . Hardest shifting sob I ever drove it would about lift the front tires shifting . I guess if theyve made it 40 years without blowing up they might be ok now ??
