I don't know whose idea this was, but I don't like it.

Taken out of my office window.

Looks to be on topic to me. I can clearly see a picture of at least one old tractor in the responses with more probably to come. I can't think of a better use to put a tractor to in the winter than to plow snow. We started plowing snow with a tractor the year we got our 1949 WD Allis. With its hydraulic lift on the back it was an easy matter to take some oak 2X8s and make a big snow pusher, essentially resembling a big barn door, and attach it to the lift arms. I still push snow backward with an 8' blade and use the front loader for piling and moving snow. No snowblowers involved and never will have one. Too many moving parts. Like helicopters vs airplanes.

Come to West Central Texas and have 50 in December but about 60 days with no rain to measure except between drops. Yesterday was brutal with 40+ mph wind out of West.
