I have a hard time remembering I have a camera in my phone, it's free to use, don't have to save it for special occasions, buy film or have it developed.

When I do remember to use it, it's usually to help me remember a part number, a model number, something I saw online, or how something goes back together.

And yes, everything gets enlarged!

Never thought of doing that. Hopefully I'll remember to do it next time the need arises but I'll probably forget to do it.

I do it all the time ! I also take pictures before I start taking things apart. Helps a lot !

30 years ago I'd make fun of the old fat bald guys at work that couldn't see...they'd be trying to read a part number on some component, I'd say gimme that and read it for them.

Now I'm there...and the pup's are making fun of me. Circle of life, I guess. It's all good, we have a good time with it.

But I've got my phone, and use it like you described...so I don't need the pup's eyes like the old guys did 30 years ago.

As an aside, so glad I worked with a bunch of guys that could dish it out and take it. Don't think I'd have survived in a PC office setting.

I showed the wife while laughing. That's the same thing I did the other day when she wasn't feeling well and I went to get canned dog food, took a picture of the can so I would know what to get. That's about the only thing I use my notes in my phone for. Thanks for the laugh, Keith
