Looking to buy this

Not always, but in many cases new users have to have 5 or more posts on record before the site lets them post pictures (or links), due to site spam filters. Another option is to go down to the Site Comments Forum and ask YT Support for permission to post prior to that. You can try going down to the Test Forum and making several posts there to get your post count up, trying to attach your pictures to each post. That may work after you make several posts. Then make your post here again. It may not work immediately after you get past the 5 posts, if not, you might try logging out and back in at that point. There is a size limit as well, I think it is a total of 7mb per post (be it one picture or the total of several). Some pictures (often taken with phones) are too large and have to be reduced before they will post.

thanks trying to upload photo. but for a f12 that has spoke rims all around i dint think $350 is a bad price.

Missing a bunch of parts, but also has some interesting details.

Battery box makes me wonder if maybe it's been converted to electric start.

Looks like it's been converted to distributor/coil ignition which I wasn't aware was even possible.

Has aftermarket shock absorber seat.

Light bar looks to be from a letter series: C/H/M

Angled steering shaft means it could be an F14 or just the F14 steering on an F12

Rear wheels/rims appear to be cutoffs - steel wheels reworked for rubber tires.

Missing rear tank mount, oil filter casting and cannister, air cleaner not hooked to carburetor (can't tell if carb is even there)

I agree. i had both the f 12 and 14. Think it is worth saving for $350.00? Not sure which engine it ha also.

If it has an electric starter grab it other wise pass Much cheaper to buy a running one or at least non ran. Is engine loosener with all correct parts

My [b:15f509587b]personal [/b:15f509587b]thought is, if you're wanting it to fix up/restore, run. If you're wanting it for lawn ornament, buy.

I think $50.00 is the more reasonable price. My 8n project has turned into a money pit and put on hold because of NLA parts that have to be fabricated and an F12 or F14 is a lot rarer than an 8n.

Just noticed the extra pictures. Governor is missing too, as well as the intake and exhaust manifolds and the carb.

I'd walk away. No more than a parts machine and not much of one at that.

you best find you a serial number before you attempt to buy that so you will know actually what it is.

one thing that wasn't mentioned yet is the belt pulley. $100+ right there if you need (want) one; most were taken off
because they run all the time, and then lost. The Monroe Easy Rider seat is a nice touch. $350 is still too much.

The rear wheels are cut down steel
with rubber rims welded on, and appear
to be shot. Can't tell in photos if
front rims are good or not. If not,
they aren't worth anything either.
$350 is probably about scrap price. Or
a tad over. I'm not sold on it being a
restore candidate. Alot of things
missing, or don't look right for an F-
12 of F-14.

I am having to have a machine shop fabricate new oil pump/ #1 main bearing cap studs. The clearance properties make the studs function as a dowel to insure proper alignment with the crankshaft. Cant find used, no company sells replacements, and bolts will not work. Nearest machinist that can do the job is seventy miles away. They should have them done this week.

I didn't think there was anything unavailable for a N series Ford.

Maybe not new but surely used.

EDIT: Whoops..... Didn't see your second post until after I posted.
