Hello - I recently purchased a '57 Massey Harris 444 with an IH2001 Loader and the single trunnion mounted dump cylinder is leaking around the ram quite a bit. I want to remove the cylinder to be able to take
it apart but I am not sure how to remove it. Its a trunnion mounted cylinder in the center of the loader. Does anyone have any idea or has worked on this loader?

From pictures on the web, it would appear you unbolt one or both trunnion mounts and slide them apart to free the cylinder. If someone has welded them in place, you will need to cut them (or at least one) free. Sometimes it works to leave the cylinder barrel mounted and pull the ram out to reseal it. You have to decide if you can do it that way.
