1. It's predecessar(sp) was the ungainly Waterloo Boy.
2. It came out at the time of the Hart-Parr being built upriver.
3. It had to compete with Henry Fords $500 Fordson being sold thru car dealerships.
I think that design was a masterpiece of new technology suitable for farmers and specifically for the tedious, hard work of plowing the soil and edging into the steam engine sphere of jobs.
