I have a fuel tank from a
White tractor mounted in the
bed of my plow truck because
the saddle tanks kept rusting
out. This year while getting
it ready for the season it
developed a fuel supply
issue, it would stall after
running for a short time. I
figured must be worn out pump
but a new one didnt help. I
thought no way it could be a
clog in the tank because the
fitting I put on there has a
hole the size of a nickle for
gas to flow out of. I knew
the tank was not dirty or
rusty inside,and I always
strain the gas going in. Well
of course it was in the tank,
a paper gasket from under
the cap of some long ago fuel
additive bottle was just the
right size to seal up the
fitting inside the tank,had
to laugh at that one
