your lucky you dont have to use boats and tractors to move them like in flooded B.C. rope around the cows neck and pulling them with boats only there head sticking out of the water. that is bad there. poor cows sitting in barns with no food or water. but appears they are getting it under control. you got a lot of cows.

Shipped steers out a week ago. Hopefully I can stretch a couple more weeks out before bringing the cows home. I hope we don't see any weather like you got there, before then.

when its cold I put on a cotton sock then a wool sock then snowmobile boots feet are toasty at -40

That sure must have been allot of cows!
I started buying water proof boots, not water resistance boots. Haven't had a problem with wet feet since. Better yet would be Gortex Boots. My motorcycle boots are gortex and been in many heavy rains in my travels and feet stayed dry.

I was in the slop from 7 am until 7 pm and my feet stayed dry snowed so hard a few times I had several inches of snow built up on my coat
