Haha good one! I recently went to KFC hoping to get in on the 2 for specials and the guy told me the only way I could get the deal was upload the KFC app to my phone order and pay through the app. I said forget it Ill just pay full price. Then he told me that the combos I wanted were only available if I use the app even if I was willing to pay full price lol go figure
 
Seems like everybody wants to force technology on us.

Technology can be great - up to a point. But, I prefer to choose which ones I embrace.

Those apps are their way of forcing their advertising on us. Once you load it, it will hound you to buy their product - whatever that may be. Load enough of them, and you run out of memory (in the phone - the other ran out long ago). If I were to load all of the ones that are presented to me, I would have to carry a phone the size of a shoe box to hold it all.
 
I drove through McDonalds a couple times last week and when I pulled up to the speaker to order, they asked me if I would be using the app? That's way too much technology for me...LOL
 
I feel like i have fallen behind in times--I have an old flip phone so can't down load any apps and need internet on my phone for DR appointments,picking up orders at various stores.etc
 
Use your desktop or laptop computer. I also have a flip phone. If I had one of those 'smart' phones,I would probably have it broken within a couple of days. Also, all I need is basic communication. Not a hand held computer with a 3 and a half inch screen.
