Neighbor asked if I could help with a cattle watering project. He rented a small excavator for a week. We put 67 hours on it. Dug about 6000 feet and two big holes for cisterns. If this picture loads, the Great Salt Lake valley is to my right and behind me. And a guy hung out most of the day in a hang glider above me on my left were the mountains lead into southern Idaho.

Heck of a view and a lot of seat time, that is some trenching you had to do.

Pretty country, I have a KUBOTA 121-3 mini excvator and I tell folks it will be the last thing to leave this hill, really hand to have around.

My body feels older than I really am or I may have an excavator. I've been slowing down.

Is the exhaust on the Kubota excavator as clean as the exhaust my L3560?

A tenant moved and left me a yard to mow. I thought there was something wrong with my Kubota.. It was the 72 inch woods mower was in heavy grass and I was going too fast. I Never ran out of Hp before. I picked up two 27 cubic feet loads of grass from the front yard. I thought I had too big of tractor until that happened.
 
Yes George the late model tier 3 engines in the excavators burn clean. Exhaust is sown at the rear and I never smell anything. I have ever kind of attachment for the thing . The hydraulic post hole digger is about the best I can reach over things or up just dig a hole anywhere. Also have a lone reach hydraulic pole saw , can cut limbs around the roads and fields.
