1975, cl40 skid steer

Hi new to forum looking for some help with locating a axle for a cl40 skid steer. I have found part erk26190
Does any one know it the erk 26091 will fit with use of space over brake spline. Thanks

There used to be a Ford dealer called Krominga in
Monticello, Iowa who bought the three pallets
containing the last vestige of the Ericson Corp.
When they ran out of axles, they had contracted a
local machine shop to run off a few. Parts demand
for the CL s eventually ceased to exist, and
Krominga Inc. got out of the Ford skid loader parts
business entirely. I dont know if Krominga is even
around anymore, but they were the last ones that
had CL parts distribution and they might still have
the parts books, or explain whether the numbers
you have will work. Also, my new Holland dealer
found a stray parts page floating around the internet
about a year ago.

Another possible dead end would be Helm, Inc. They reprinted literature on every single piece of farm equipment that Ford marketed. They are also well known for automotive wiring diagrams for Ford and Chevy.

These folks made axles at one time.

If you check with them and it works out please post back.
I have an Erikson built machine too.

Can't answer your question. This link was posted in 19. I broke an axle on mine and had someone repair it. When it
broke again 10 years later, I ordered one (don't know where). It had also been repaired but has held up well for for the
last 7/8 years. Turning sharp on hard ground or pavement is very hard on them. Definitely a weak point on the machine.
