I have seen more 4020 with a case 70 or 90 series front that any other make of tractor retroffited with a 20 series wfe.

Your tractor hasnt had the loader on it since new. Tractors that a used from new as loader tractors, the front ends are just plain wore out by the age your tractor is.
Newer 4wd tractors seem to stand the abuse better than the old two wheel drive tractors did.

Think you are right,last year I swapped out the front end on my Oliver 1365 for a front end off an industrial Long 550 that had never had a loader on it.

I'm amazed how much you can lift without rear ballast, est 900#.
I had flat from tires trying to lift a metal brake. Had to add rear ballast and over inflated front tires.

I added a nitrogen canister from a 7720 combine header float to my 740 loader lift cylinders, takes out the hard jolts from badger holes and frozen cow turds.
John Deere now has it as an add on the newer loaders. It can be turned on or off with a flip of a switch, depending if you are digiging and want better control.

And when it didnt it had a stack of up to 20 front weights on it . I am careful when i have a lot of weight on but I dont baby it either . Growing up hauling round bales it didnt have very lent weight I would pick up a bale grab 4th gear dump the clutch lift the front wheels off the ground theyd slam down I would shift to 7th and head for the stack yard .

I remember that metal brake that thing looked heavy . This power harrow weighs just under 3000 pounds I did have the scraper on and it weighs a little over 400 pounds

I have a 4020 That had a loader like that when I bought it .Both frame rails had bee broke right where the loader brace arms bolt on. That weight is all put behind the front axle that way. lengthen the braces and put them above the axle and the frame will be Ok .
