I have had a Harris for almost 60 year and proably not what they were then. Put new seats in regulators several years ago. Have Victor knockoff not that impressed , think its them flash back preventers.

Tracy, Too bad we are so far away. A good customer passed away and I bought his nice Victor torch set. Look like they have never been used. Lot better than some of the new stuff out there today. You do know that you can have your old torch rebuilt. Had one of mine done and what a difference it made for cutting. Thought I had a new torch.

Can't go wrong with any of the 3 mentioned. I have a big Victor and a small Harris. I use the Harris more. Victor is probably 5 yrs old, Harris I have had for 30 yrs and a friends dad had it for 15 or so when he gave it to me. Still works fine.

(quoted from post at 17:57:37 10/30/21) I'm looking at replacing my cutting torch. I know Victor and Smith are good names. How about Harris? Is it an ok brand?

What's wrong with what you have?

Replacing good 'ol American made stuff with what is on the market now isn't always an upgrade.

The problem I have with Harris is the O rings on the tips, Victors do not have that problem. Smith is a good torch can be a little higher money, but good tools
